From April 2019 we are working in partnership with ex-professional footballer Junior McDougald and his charity - Sports Connections Foundation. The SCF will help spread the awareness of Klinefelter Syndrome in the charity's outreach work across the UK.
WHAT WE DO
The Davies Family Quest for Klinefelter's Awareness are a small family who are looking to fundraise and raise awareness for Klinefelter Syndrome due to a member of our family being diagnosed with the syndrome.
Klinefelter syndrome (sometimes called Klinefelter's, KS or XXY) is where boys and men are born with an extra X chromosome.
Klinefelter syndrome is quite common, affecting around 1 in every 660 males, but it is not commonly heard of, and our aim is to raise awareness and the profile of this incurable condition.
We are based in Dagenham, Essex in the United Kingdom but want to help as many families as possible all over the world with identifying, diagnosing, treating and living with Klinefelter Syndrome.
